Does it matter if it's left or right arm
I don’t believe so. I was in the hospital last week and they used either or.
I am a nurse studying wound care course. i do not have much experience with wounds and dressings. I choose to do the course in spite of my barriers because I love to nurse and i cannot forget the faces and comments of people i helped just using my basic knowledge in wound care. I made a decision to enroll in the course to know more and be relevant. It challenges me in so many way but i am enjoying every challenge. Watching you Mary made me to realise that I made the perfect choice. I feel more confident and determined to succeed in this.
Thank you for this lecture
this is amazing. I am dealing with a nastier than usual wound and was bewildered at the pharmacy on what to be doing to manage this from getting too infected. I wish I'd seen it before but I chose pretty well and now know even better for round 2.
Thanks for learning
Period of Compression bandage on That?
Uau 😃
Why don't you use ice pack directly
I have a post surgical wound that wouldn’t healing . As a healthy person doing everything my surgeon said, I was stalled in healing post inflammation stage but not getting any granulation tissue. I was very sad and frustrated. The constant wet to dry dressing changes kept my wound too dry and stalled for a month. He had even used 2500$ single dressing but not even properly. He has put a dry gauze over it and fabric tape and just said “don’t touch it!” Like fabric tape and a dry gauze under my arm pit will just be fine for a week?? And will just stay put and clean?? I searched for more information (since he refused to refer me to a wound dr.) Within 3 days of using the suggested dressings for my not very wet wound (Hydrocolloid) I finally have granulated tissue! 🎉❤ my surrounding skin is normal color again and the site is contracting!!! I’m so grateful! I had given up hope my wound would be healed for a beach vacation in 4 weeks but, with this guidance I am sure it will be closed and doing very well.
🙏🏻Thank you så much for this knowledge ❤
Thank you for a brilliant talk
Does this really work?
Interessante
No way there's legitimately a brand named Medicare
Don’t buy it one ear is 35 and the other is 36
Loved your presentation. I am a nursing student who graduates in 3 months. I have always enjoyed wound care in my 28 years as a caregiver. My dream is to eventually become a wound nurse. How can I get a copy of the posters that you showed at the end? Thank you for your informational easy to understand presentation.
Great job at explaining and showing pictures so regular people who have no medical studies can understand how to care for my injury at home. I watcyh many videos and only yours was helpful. The others were like watching a foreign lecture with no subtitles, Because all the medical words are new to me, you explanation and the pictures help show what the word means. People like myself called all the large dressing bandages and the small ones bandaids. Now I know each type has a different name and a specific purpose and time to be used.
Best and the most simple video ewer seen. No bla, bla and again don't show clearly, which means they don't know whaare they doing
Very grear
Are those posters still available?
so great
Wow, this lady is so knowledgeable and teaches so well. She explains everything so good.
Thank you ❤
It is not accurate at all
I love you, Mary Martin. Your explanation is so detailed and thorough.
Thank you for your sharing. May I check where to get the poster and would like to have a copy. Appreciate much
I have a very bad post nasal drip, what is your recommendations please 🙏
maybe you can try using sponge nasal plugs if you don’t want to have surgery or take medicine, my dad and me cured by using sponge nasal plugs, that's amazing
Very good video, it provides some new ideas for our products
THANK YOU SO MUCHHH! I have a wound that has yellow parts and red parts around it. I thought it was infected but based on your video, it should be healing!
How is your wound healing! Always watch for black skin skin that's not good I had an infection last year and the wound is steal slowly building back up 😢long process and hurts from new veins but I'm greatful its better
You’re not the real Jamie Kearns
This is the best presentation of wound care. Thanks a lot.
I just suffered an ankle sprain recently What can I do for the quickest possible recovery?
Im here because of video demonstrating
uhh part of my surgery wound is stuck at inflammatory stage and keeps on oozing slough. Cutimed Sorbact helps and make ito form black scab instead! Probably Aquacel would do the same.
Same question here. How do you turn it off? IT can sometimes switch on in a suitcase due to the button getting a little pressure. Is there really no option but to take the batteries out? I;ve tried pressing the "start/stop" button for several seconds but that doesn't do it. Very poor design.
im i the only one watching this while self treating a wound at home?
Why do you use two colours?
Just makes it easier to show on camera
Use a proper microphone
This lady is amazingly easy to understand and has helped me through my after surgery wound care, especially when I couldn’t get a straight answer from my doctor about bandages! I now forever know that healing requires MOISTURE verses scabbing - I NEVER KNEW THAT!!!
LOL. It say use your ring or middle finger and dude is using his first finger.
bruh it's literally the index finger
This was a brilliant presentation with all the dressings I use and explanation of why. I read the inserts that has accompany my dressings but it was not as informative as this information. I am new to wound care and this absolutely was the best help that I have received so far.
Um can you give the link download?
amazing presentation
This is interesting, I have seen in other videos they begin at the foot and work their way up. Why have you wrapped up the ankle the other way?
Would i get pdf of this lecture?
Best Presentation I've Ever Seen - Please Note that Wound Care Takes Time, Sometimes A lot of time with the elderly, but the body is always trying to heal wounds.
Your videos give the best explanation. I should be able to ace the practical component of my first aide course. Cheers.
If it doesn’t pair automatically, and the A5 blood pressure monitor isn’t one of the choices in the manual setup, what do we choose/do?
This is the best explanation ever thank you so much. Is there any chance we can get the PowerPoint please?
